Lasers used in Asklepion offer tailor made methods for the clients.
Do you suffer from acne?
We treat acne by effective methods with minimum side effects, i.e.:
- Chemical peeling – skin is etched with fruit acid, and then neutralised, cornified parts of skin disappear and make space for new skin cells.
- Smoothbeam laser, which penetrates directly the sick sebaceous glands, hypertrophied tissue is transferred into a healthy one, and acne development is stopped. This laser also removes hypertrophied acne residues, and essentially improves the post-acne scars.
Epilation – away with undesired hair!
For the time being, the laser-assisted removal of undesirable hair is the most effective, permanent and gentle method. GentleYAG, GentleLASE and Ellipse lasers operate on similar principle. The beam is absorbed by hair pigment dye, goes through the upper layers of the dermis, is captured in the hair bulb, and thermally destroys the bulb. Nevertheless, it is necessary to hit the hair during its growing phase. That is why the treatment must be repeated, usually 4 – 5 times, and 8 and more times in clients suffering from hormonal disorders.
Freckles and moles
Their formation is particularly influenced genetically and by the sun radiation. Freckles can be also formed as a consequence of skin burns, inflammation, contraceptive drugs, hormonal disorders and age. Freckles are removed by a laser or IPL device; pigmentation, warts, haemangioma, and outgrows can be removed with the Ellipse system, as well as AlexLAZR and Vbeam lasers.
Enlarged venules – reddening no more!
We have really tremendous experience with the treatment of this ailment. Excellent results are particularly achieved in the treatment by means of the Vbeam laser, which removes the venules up to 1mm in diameter. In comparison with older lasers, this treatment does not leave any spots on the patient´s body.
Another laser - GentleYAG – removes light blue blood vessels 1.0 – 3.0mm in diameter that appear particularly on legs. Asklepion also achieves very good results in the treatment of diffuse facial redness (particularly due to emotions or temperature change (from warm to cold environment). The Ellipse Flex device perfectly removes this redness, and the recovery lasts several hours.
Skin rejuvenation
As far as aesthetic dermatology is concerned, now the centre of interest is “anti-aging” treatment focused on skin rejuvenation. This treatment is aimed at the elimination of photo aging (skin damage caused by UV radiation), and at the slowdown of the processes of skin aging. A significant rejuvenation can be achieved by means of the Smoothbeam laser treatment. As a reaction to the laser radiation, loose collagen fibre structure deep in the skin is stretched, old and damaged fibres are absorbed, and new more elastic fibres start to originate within six weeks. The therapy is unexacting for the client, nearly without accompanying signs, but with visible effect.
We also offer laser resurfacing; a method based on very radical ablative CO2 or erbium YAG laser skin resurfacing surgery. It removes blemishes, scars, small pigment marks and particularly facial wrinkles. Advantages of this method are the treatment under local anaesthesia, short time of recovery (7 - 10 days) and minimum subsequent complications.
