Asklepion – Clinic and Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Prague

The original Asklepion Laser Centre in Prague, known from as far back as 1996 as a leader in the field of laser medicine in the Czech Republic, ext its operations in September 2005, moved premises, extended its offer of services to include further medical fields and opened the Clinic and Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Prague at Londýnská in Prague 2.

Asklepion became one of the largest private centres for aesthetic medicine and longevity in Central Europe in the completely renovated building of the once famous Gynaecological-obstetric clinic over a floor space of 3500 m2. The unique position held by Asklepion is given not only by its extent, maybe comparable only with the large state clinics, but above all by its unique and complex view of beauty, health and longevity. Thanks to a wide basis of cooperating medical fields under one roof (corrective dermatology, laser medicine, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, stomatology, vascular surgery, ORL, anti-aging medicine, internal medicine, rehabilitation, cosmetics and other fields of medicine), thanks to the technical and technological equipment (tens of surgeries equipped to the highest standards, three operating theatres, an in-patient department and laboratory etc.) and also thanks to cooperation with a wide range of scientific and faculty workplaces in the Czech Republic and abroad, Asklepion is to be found at the absolute pinnacle not only of Czech, but also international medical services.

The interiors of the clinic were designed by the Hippos Design architectural and design studio. Asklepion also moved into the new building on Londýnská with a new logo created in Studio Najbrt, which also created the company’s corporate design. Thus the idea that it is crucial for there to be aesthetics of the environment in a place where aesthetics of the face and body are nurtured was met to the full.
