Asklepion company design
Asklepion always surpassed the borders of the standards held by the regular private medical centres in the Czech Republic with its approach to all aspects of the field. The basic philosophy of its owners is among other things: “Let there also be aesthetics of the environment in a place where aesthetics of the face and body are nurtured”. The current appearance of Asklepion corresponds to this.
The interiors of Asklepion – Clinic and Institute of Aesthetic medicine, which is based in the building of the once famous Gynaecological-obstetric clinic, have been designed by Radim Babák and Ondrej Tobola from Hippos Design. Asklepion moved into the new building in the autumn of 2005 along with a new logo and new corporate design, the authors of which are Ales Najbrt and Mikulás Machácek from Studio Najbrt (who for example designed the logo for the City of Prague and the logo Reflex magazine).
The unique current appearance of the clinic has not escaped the attention of foreign or domestic modern design experts (e.g. the Designblok 2006 award).
The basis of the visual style at Asklepion are the colours and the logo – a figure made up of coloured dots. The aim was to create a cheerful, uncluttered style, which evokes confidence and pleasant feelings on the part of the clients. The dots then also indicate the complexity offered by the clinic.
One of the means of creation of the uniform visual style of Asklepion and an important tool for external and internal communication is also constituted by the company’s basic colours. The company colours facilitate identification of all activities and items relating to the Asklepion brand, above all via printed administrative and marketing materials or, for example, used in the architecture.
